CryoStore Mid-term Meeting and Annual Meeting 2024

The Annual meeting 2024 of the Supervisory Board in the CryoStore project was held in Hannover, Germany on August 28. All beneficiaries were represented except for USB (Martin Pšenička). Furthermore, a few associated partners were also present at the meeting (IMV Technologies and LLS Rowiak) in addition to two representatives of the Doctoral Candidates. The Project Manager gave clarifications on the obligations of the beneficiaries in terms of reporting. The work package leaders gave a quick overview of the status of their respective research topics. The timing and venue for the next meeting were also discussed.
This meeting was arranged on the day after the mid-term meeting for the project with the European Research Executive Agency (27 August 2024). At the midterm meeting, all 10 recruited DCs were present, in addition to the main supervisors/scientists-in-charge. The associated partners NordGen (Jaana Peippo) and IMV Technologies (Lucie Gavin-Plagne) were also present. The Project Officer Isabelle Aires-Pinto evaluated the progress of the project, the recruitment procedure and the eligibility of the recruited DCs.

In order to comply with the MSCA Green Charter and the EU Green Deal, specifically reduction of travel, the CryoStore consortium held both its mid-term review and annual meeting of 2024 over two days immediately following the 1st summer school. The project management team would like to thank all participants for some very productive and interesting days.
