Cryopreservation and Other Preservation Approaches for Animal Models

The NIH Office of Research Infrastructure Programs (ORIP) invites you to register and attend a virtual workshop on “Cryopreservation and Other Preservation Approaches for Animal Models”

September 2024 - May 2025

The workshop is being organized by ORIP in collaboration with several NIH Institutes, including NCI, NHLBI, NIA, NICHD, and NIGMS, and will be held as a series of virtual sessions beginning September 6, 2024 and extending into 2025.

This workshop will offer a venue for experts to discuss the needs of cryopreservation and other preservation approaches for widely used animal models in biomedical research, with a specific focus on current and emerging technologies. The overall goal of the workshop is to enhance preservation, maintenance and sharing of animal models.

The event is free. You can register for specific sessions or the entire series at: https://www.scgcorp.com/Cryopreservation2024/Default
